Location: Kenya
Mission Board: Harvesters International
Harvesters International Missions first partnered with Julius Murgor, one of the first Christians of the Pokot tribe of Western Kenya, in 1988. For the past 18 years, they have been reaching out to the Pokot tribe with the Gospel through the Pokot Outreach Ministry. The ministry has grown tremendously over this time to now include the branches of: Evangelism & Church Planting, Training & Education, Orphanages, Mission Stations, Medical Projects (mobile clinics), and several projects including the Waterfall Project and various Farm Projects. Clearwater will send money for Julius and his team to use toward supporting Pokot pastors (those that have been trained to spread the Gospel to others in the tribe), orphanages (feeding and teaching children), and the mobile medical clinics. Julius is joined on the field by his wife, Rachel, and children, Josephine, Rebecca, Miriam, and Gared.
